What Heavy AI Users Can Tell Us About the Future of Search

Dialog's November consumer survey shows increasing AI adoption in a clearly evolving search marketplace. In recruiting survey respondents, we sought people who used search engines at least weekly and had previously used an AI application at least once.

Combining the 1,000 respondent sample with those screened out, we determined that 44% of US adults had tried AI. Among those who qualified for the survey, 57% reported using AI daily, with 28% saying they use it multiple times a day. The remainder (43%) were weekly or monthly users.
